Here's what a correct installation protects.
Right-sized comfort. We run a Manual J load calculation before we quote any equipment. An oversized unit short-cycles, wastes power, and wears out its parts early. An undersized unit runs nonstop and never quite gets there. The math up front is what keeps every room even.
Lower monthly bills. A system installed to manufacturer spec runs at the efficiency you paid for. That is important because proper setup affects overall performance. While some boiler systems can reach up to 95% heating efficiency, a rushed install can cut real-world efficiency by 30% or more, and you feel that on every statement.
A warranty that holds. Manufacturers require licensed, code-compliant installation to honor their warranties. Florida now requires ACCA Manual J load calculations on most residential equipment changes, so we build that into every job. Skip it, and a future claim can be denied.

The workhorse of Pinellas County comfort. One unit heats and cools, and it does both efficiently in our climate. Current models must meet SEER2 14.3 and HSPF2 7.5; ENERGY STAR units reach SEER2 16 and higher.

Zoned comfort for additions, converted garages, sunrooms, or older homes without ductwork. You control each zone independently, so you only condition the space you're using.

How We Install Your Heating System
STEP 01
In-Home Assessment and Load Calculation
A licensed technician measures your home's square footage, insulation, windows, ceiling height, and layout, then runs a Manual J load calculation that accounts for both temperature and humidity, the second one being the part most Florida installers rush. We check your existing ductwork and electrical panel capacity, then recommend a system based on the load calculation, existing ductwork, and electrical capacity. Each project is planned around your home's layout and system access needs. No upsell.
STEP 02
Planning and Permits
We build your timeline, pull every permit for Pinellas County compliance, and coordinate delivery and scheduling. You get a short prep checklist, so your home is ready on install day. As part of the planning process, we may make minor modifications when needed for code compliance or equipment compatibility. Permits and code compliance are our job, not yours.
STEP 03
Professional Installation
We remove your old equipment and handle the refrigerant safely in accordance with EPA protocols. The new system meets manufacturer specs: ductwork installed or modified as needed; pipes installed correctly where applicable; electrical connections and safety devices set and verified; connected to the proper power source or fuel line, as required by the equipment; and gas equipment connected and set up to code when selected. Key components stay secure during installation, and every joint is sealed and insulated, including the attic runs that quietly waste energy when they're skipped. Installers also maintain proper clearance around serviceable components and shutoff access. For closed-system equipment, installers may use a Plumbing Mechanical Package and related components to complete the setup correctly, and end caps may be used to protect open pipe ends during setup.
STEP 04
Testing, Performing Security Verification, and Commissioning
Before we leave, we complete important testing and commissioning for long-term system performance: we test airflow, verify refrigerant charge, check temperature differentials, and pressure-test the system, including, where applicable, checking expansion-related pressure stability on closed systems. We program your thermostat, may attach final controls, verify operation before the walkthrough, register your manufacturer's warranty, and schedule the final building-department inspection. You end the day with a system that works and instructions you actually understand.
